Goa to host India’s biggest pageant for men, the Rubaru Mr India 2018 pageant this March 10!

India’s biggest and most prestigious male pageant, the Rubaru Mr India contest will be celebrating its fifteenth edition this year. On this special occasion the organizers decided to move the pageant to the beautiful and exotic land of Goa. The grand finale of the pageant is slated to take place on 10 March 2018 at Las Olas in Goa. The announcement was made by the Rubaru team via their social media account on 10 February 2018.During the pageant the candidates will be staying at the La Vida suites, where all their grooming and training sessions will be carried out by some of the leading specialists from the fashion and showbiz industry and the grand finale will take place at the Las Olas Hotel on 10 March 2018.

This is for the first time that the pageant is happening in Goa. After a series of auditions across the nation some of the most charming and talented men have been shortlisted as finalists who will now compete at the national level finale to take place on 10 March 2018 in Goa. The candidates will be judged on various parameters like communication skills, talent, presentation, fitness and many more. After a series of preliminary events and challenges, the best performing candidates will be proclaimed as the top winners of the pageant and will represent India at some of the most renowned and well-established international pageants for men in the coming months.

The Rubaru Mr India pageant is regarded as the foremost and oldest surviving annual male pageant in India. It began in the year 2004 as a regional modelling competition in the Northern part of India and gradually became the most anticipated male modelling pageant of the world’s largest democracy. The pageant is organized every year by the Rubaru Group, an NGO and talent promoting organization based in the North Indian state of Haryana.

The Rubaru Mr India pageant is associated to more than 10 international male pageants and has produced various national and international winners who have brought laurels and pride to the Indian nation. It also holds the record of being the only Indian pageant organization that is associated to maximum number of international modelling competitions. Apart from all its glitzy and glamorous side, the pageant also supports a very noble cause of women empowerment. During their reign as Rubaru Mr India titleholders, the winners of the pageant get the opportunity to work for this cause. Apart from that, they spend the next 12 months taking part in various social and fashion events.

Mohit Singh, Rubaru Mr India 2016 and the first Indian to win the Mister United Continents 2016 international contest held in the Philippines.

Pankaj Ahlawat, Rubaru Mr India 2017 and the first Indian to win the Mister National Universe 2017 international contest held in Thailand.

This 10 March 2018, the world shall learn the names of the candidates who will represent the world’s largest democracy, India at some of the biggest international male pageants.
