good-looking model turned actor and reality TV celebrity from New Delhi,
judging the nation’s biggest pageant for men, the Rubaru Mr India pageant this
March in Goa. The very same pageant that Akash won in the year 2016 when it
happened in Gurugram (previously Gurgaon).

Akash is often cited as one of the most handsome Mr India
winners the nation has ever produced. He grabbed attention for his perfectly
sculpted face and his dark almond shaped eyes. During the Rubaru Mr India 2016
pageant he was one of the crowd favourite candidates to win the title. Since
winning the pageant in 2016, Akash has come a long way from being a successful fashion
model to appearing India’s most popular reality TV series amongst the youth,
Splitsvilla (Season 10).

Akash also served as a mentor for the candidates of the
Rubaru Mr India 2017 pageant happened at the Royal Castle, Gurugram. Apart from
that he has also served as a presenter for several international modelling
competitions such as Mister Model International, Supermodel International and
Face of Beauty International.

The Rubaru Mr India pageant is India’s most prestigious and one
of the oldest surviving annual male pageants. The pageant was established by
the Rubaru Group, an NGO and talent promoting organization based in the
Northern part of India. The pageant has been happening annually since the year
2004. It initially began as a regional modelling contest and gradually became
the most anticipated pageant for men in India. The winners of the pageant get
the golden opportunity to represent India some of biggest and well-established
international modelling competitions and male pageants in the world.

This year, the Rubaru Mr India Organization is celebrating
their fifteenth edition and the organizers moved the pageant to the beautiful
land of Goa. Twenty four (24) of the most handsome Indian men have been shortlisted
as finalists to compete at the national level finale to take place on 10 March
2017 at the Las Olas Hotel in Goa. The Rubaru Mr India pageant is associated
with more than 10 international modelling competitions and male pageants across
the globe. Akash will be playing a key role in selecting the names that shall
represent India at these international events in the coming months. The pageant
will commence on 7 March 2018 at the La Vida Residency Suites and will comprise various preliminary events and
challenges. After all the training sessions and pre-pageant activities, the
pageant will conclude on 10 March 2018 with the election of the new Rubaru Mr
India titleholders who will represent India internationally in the coming
months.
