The rising star of Indian pageant industry, Nikhil Anand

He may have often been described as typically a neophyte to the Indian pageantry in the past but today, he certainly has made his mark by becoming the youngest international pageant organizer in the world. Yes, we are talking about the very charming and good-looking, Nikhil Anand, the chairman of Glamanand, the organization that owns Glamanand Supermodel India and Miss Multinational beauty pageant.

Hailing from Darbhanga, a city in Bihar, Nikhil did his schooling from there, after that he moved to New Delhi for his higher studies. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering this ambitious young man took up modeling as a teenager, a career that lead his way to Mr. North India 2013 contest. However he failed to win the title but the fascinating world of fashion, spotlight, glitz and glamour left a huge impact on this naïve and ingenuous youngster, it was then he came up with idea of Glamanand and later in the year 2013 at the tender age of 19, he established Glamanand Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for organizing fashion events and to provide a platform to the aspiring models.

Nikhil Anand is the youngest international pageant owner in the world. 

In the midst of all this Nikhil felt something was still missing. He felt he had the potential to do even more. So in October 2014, he launched the first ever beauty pageant under the Glamanand franchise and named it Glamanand Supermodel India. Mohini Raaj Puniya, an Indo-Canadian model from Maharashtra was declared the first ever Glamanand Supermodel India. She represented India at Face of Beauty International 2014 held in Taiwan in the month of December.

The year 2015 brought a huge responsibility on the shoulders of this diligent hombre when the Carousel Productions, the organization that owns Miss Earth beauty pageant awarded him the rights to select India’s delegates for the Miss Earth pageant. That year, the winner of Glamanand Supermodel India contest, Aaital Khosla went onto represent India at the extravagant Miss Earth 2015 beauty pageant held in the Philippines. The Miss Earth beauty pageant is one of the biggest and most anticipated international beauty pageants in the world. The very same year, Nikhil Anand’s organization, Glamanand Supermodel India was awarded the rights to send India’s representatives to the Miss International beauty pageant as well. Established in the year 1960, the Miss International beauty pageant is one of the oldest and most credible international pageants in the world. The pageant has its headquarters in Japan. Famous model and beauty queen, Supriya Aiman represented India at 2015 Miss International beauty pageant held in Japan. The same year, another Glamanand titleholder, Sneha Jagiasi represented India at the Miss Tourism World 2015 beauty pageant in Malaysia and was awarded with the title of Miss Personality.

Nikhil established Glamanand Entertainment Pvt Ltd when he was just 19 years old.

The year 2018 turned out be the turning point in this very humble and hardworking gentleman’s life. It was the year when Nikhil made up his mind to launch the first ever international pageant under the Glamanand franchise. On February 24, 2018, Philippines’ Sophia Senoron was elected the first ever Miss Multinational winner. The event concluded extravagantly at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurugram, India. She outshined 34 candidates from different parts of the world and wrote her in the history with golden letters as the very first Miss Multinational pageant’s winner.

It was after such a long time that India had its own international beauty pageant. All thanks to the consistent hard work and dedication of this young man who could have been a successful automobile engineer however, he followed his dreams and became the youngest international pageant organizer in the world.

In coming months, he is planning to launch Mr. Multinational contest in India. It will be an international beauty pageant for men. While he is exploring all avenues to make that pageant a big success, we wish him all the very best. We are all very proud of him. KEEP ROCKIN’!!!
