A tribute to Sandeep Kumar, the shining mega star of Indian pageant industry!

Sandeep Kumar is no stranger to the world of beauty pageants. From being honoured with the prestigious award of best pageant organizer twice to organizing multiple international pageants and modelling competitions in India year after year, the man has made the most significant contribution to the Indian pageant industry in recent years. However, things were not the same for this proud owner of Rubaru Group, one of the most successful pageant organizations in India. Let us know some more facts about this Indian entrepreneur who completely changed the face of the Indian pageantry and took it to a whole new level.

Hailing from the north Indian state of Haryana, Sandeep started his journey as a freelance painter. He travelled the world showcasing his masterpieces and received numerous accolades for his work. His stint with pageantry began in the year 2004, when he established the Rubaru Group, an NGO and talent promoting group, which today serves as the parent organization for five beauty pageants and modelling competitions that include the Rubaru Mister India pageant, one of the oldest and most celebrated pageants for men in Asia; Miss Supermodel Worldwide, the very first international modelling competition for women based in India; Mister Model Worldwide, the first ever international modelling competition for men based in India; Rubaru Mr and Miss Junior India, a talent and fashion event for kids and the Rubaru Miss India Elite pageant, a national beauty pageant for Indian women that elects India’s representatives for various international pageants and modelling competitions across the globe.

After creating Rubaru Group in the year 2004, he began organizing regional modelling competitions in the Northern part of India. The very first pageant that he organized was Rubaru Mr Bahadurgarh, which later evolved into Rubaru Mr India, the biggest annual pageant for men in India. After the success of his first event, he launched a similar event for Indian girls of that region and named it Rubaru Miss Bahadurgarh, which later evolved into Rubaru Miss India Elite pageant. The same year, he organized the first ever talent and fashion event for kids in the North India, under the name of Rubaru Mr and Miss Junior India.

These pageants became bigger and better with time. The year 2014, marked a turning point in his life, when for the very first time, the Rubaru Group got associated to an international pageant organization. It was Mister Model International Pageant owned by US-based entrepreneur, Luis Trujillo. Since then, there was no looking back for this Indian gentleman.  Since 2014 to this very year (2018), the Rubaru Group has elected and sent India’s representatives to more than 30 international modelling competitions and beauty pageants and has produced multiple national and international winners who have brought laurels and pride to the country. The Rubaru Group also, holds the record of being the only Indian pageant organization to have association with the highest number of international pageants and modelling contests.

The year 2018 turned out to be the most special year in this beautiful journey of Sandeep that he initiated in 2004. It was the year when the Rubaru pageants celebrated their 15 years of existence and this year, Sandeep through the Rubaru Group, launched the first ever international modelling competition based in India, the Miss Supermodel Worldwide competition. The inaugural edition of this international fashion event concluded with the crowning of Miss Belarus as the eventual winner. Also, in the coming months, the Rubaru Group is all set to launch its very first international modelling competition for men. This is also going to be the very first international modelling competition for men having headquarters in India. All thanks to this humble gentleman for taking the pageant industry to a whole new level in India.

From being a painter to becoming a pageant organizer to becoming a social activist and now a very successful entrepreneur, this man has played all his roles with full dedication and determination and has excelled in all his tasks that he under took with flying colours. No other Indian pageant organization or organizer has achieved so many accomplishments and milestones as Sandeep did. Indeed, this humble gentleman’s contribution to the Indian pageantry is remarkably incredible.
