Rubaru Mr India 2017, Mohit Sharma to represent India at the upcoming Mister Model International Pageant slated to take place in the US this March!

Rubaru Mr India 2017 titleholder, Mohit Sharma will soon be flying to the United States of America to represent India at the upcoming Mister Model International Pageant scheduled to take place from February 27, 2018 to March 10, 2018 in Miami, Florida. The grand finale of the pageant will take place at the Ash Theatre, James L Knight Centre in Florida on March 10, 2017. At the grand finale, the current winner of Mister Model International Pageant, Narapat Sakunsong from Thailand will pass on his title to a new Mister Model International titleholder.

Mohit hails from the beautiful city of Shimla and is a freelance model, fitness and nutrition consultant and software engineer. He completed his graduation in computer applications from the Bangalore University and did his Master’s degree in Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (popularly known as BITS, Pilani in India). Mohit describes himself as a very positive and optimistic person. He always prefers to look at the brighter side of everything. He takes every challenge as a new opportunity to overcome his fears and discover his new strengths. He is a fitness enthusiast and likes to play badminton, ride bikes and cooking in his spare time. Before joining the fashion industry, this 6 foot tall Indian gentleman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the Wipro Technologies in Bangalore city. His passion for fitness led his way to this glitzy and glamorous world of modelling and ultimately won him the prestigious Rubaru Mr India 2017 competition.

Mohit succeeded last year’s winner, Rubaru Mr India 2016, Anurag Fageriya. He was proclaimed as Rubaru Mr India Model International 2017 at the grand finale of the Rubaru  Mr India 2017 contest held on February 25, 2017 at the Royal Castle, Gurugram. After winning this prestigious title, Mohit won the rights to represent India at the renowned international modelling competition, the Mister Model International Pageant based in the United States of America.

The Rubaru Mr India pageant is India’s  biggest and most prestigious annual male pageant. The pageant was established by the Rubaru Group in year 2004. The pageant began as a regional modelling competition in the Northern part of India and eventually became the foremost pageant for men in India. In the year 2014, the Rubaru Mr India Organization got associated with the Mister Model International Pageant and since then the Rubaru Mr India pageant has been sending India’s representatives to this prestigious international modelling competition, owned by US-based entrepreneur Luis Trujillo. Over  the years, the pageant has produced various prominent male models who have made a mark for themselves in this fascinating world of glitz and glamour.

The Mister Model International Pageant is generally a 2 to 3 week-long event. During the pageant the candidates get judged in various segments like formal wear competition, health and fitness, runway skills, on-stage presentation and many more. After a series of fashion events and the preliminary sub-competitions, the best performing delegate is proclaimed as the winner of the pageant at the grand finale. The winner gets the opportunity to travel the world and takes part in various fashion and social events. This March 10, the world shall learn the name of the new Mister Model International titleholder.
